The purpose of the National Eligibility Test is to ascertain an Indian national’s eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) awards and lectureships at the university or college level.

More than 80 disciplines are covered in the UGC NET exam, with management being one of the most popular fields among candidates. The topics covered in the UGC Management syllabus include financial management, accounting, organizational behavior, and management functions.

UGC NET Exam Pattern

Paper I, Teaching & Research Aptitude, and Paper II, Subject Specific, are the two papers that make up the UGC NET Exam.

The first and second UGC NET papers contain 300 points each and take three hours to complete. UGC NET Paper 2 will carry 200 total points, while Paper 1 will carry 100.

In both papers, candidates will receive two marks for each right answer. Negative points are not awarded for unsatisfactory answers. Questions that remain unanswered or blank will not receive any credit.
